Since June, 2014, Liz has served as Associate Pastor. Along with our staff’s shared responsibilities of creating and leading worship, teaching, and providing pastoral care, Liz coordinates our congregational care teams, supports the leadership of our Deacon Ministry Teams and directs the Pastoral Residency Program.
A Native of Pennsylvania, Liz earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Bloomsburg University and her Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. Before seminary, Liz worked for five years at Gould Farm, a therapeutic community for adults with mental illness, where she learned to accompany others in their recovery, milk cows and live in community. Prior to this position, Liz served as Pastor of Friedens UCC in Oley, PA and as Pastoral Resident at the Village Church.
Liz is a participant in the UCC Pension Board’s Next Generational Leadership Initiative, a leader of the Framingham Accompaniment Team and an active parent at her daughter’s elementary school. Her husband is an elementary educator and together they love to garden and try and keep up with their daughter’s imagination.
