Gladys, or St. Gladys, as she is referred to at Village Church, is known for making the best coffee. She makes it strong because she knows that is how the congregation likes it. Gladys epitomizes service and giving. You will find her around the church being a hostess at church events, as well as providing set up and cleaning support for events.
On Sunday mornings, if you hear the bell ringing to call people to worship, it is most likely Gladys who is ringing it. “I love working in the church because it’s God’s home,” she says.
Gladys enjoys spending time with her daughter’s family, including her two grandchildren, in Marlborough.
